Do you remember when your best four legged friend was a puppy? When life was all about socialising your pup, toilet training, behaviour modification (puppies just love to explore the world with their teeth, it's a shame those teeth are so sharp!) and more. Some days you question why you brought this rambunctious pup into your life but mostly you cherish every moment the two of you spend together.

A recent photography session at King's Billabong Park, with Mildura puppy Max and his human Paige was a reminder of all the beauty, wonder & sometimes cheekiness of life with a puppy.
At the time Max was about 17 weeks old. He was full of energy, investigating everything that caught his attention, but also demanding all the love and pets just as one would expect of a puppy.
.
He was a champion model, happy to explore a log he was placed on so I could get the ubiquitous dog on a log photo (albeit in this case a puppy on a log photo) whilst also excelling at running towards me as I lay on the ground, camera in hand, to get some action photos.

At the end of his session Max was thoroughly worn out, but happy. Paige was also happy, having witnessed Max on his best behaviour as the two of them worked together to create beautiful moments together.
Paige selected fine art acrylic and matted prints, giving herself from the session, giving herself lifelong memories to remember of when Max was a puppy.
I'm sure Max will never forget his time being a modelling super star, perhaps he even dreams of modelling again!
